Exeter Flutes was founded by Musical Director Ruth Molins in Autumn 2016 to provide fun opportunities for playing in a flute choir.
Originally two groups (Exeter Youth Flutes and Exeter Flutes), in January 2018 the two flute choirs joined together to create one all-ages, all-abilities group: EXETER FLUTES. This is a chance to perform fantastic repertoire in a welcoming atmosphere where we can all learn from each other! Exeter Flutes are proudly supported by Wonderful Winds

"I have been part of Exeter Flutes for two terms and it has been such a joy. I returned to flute playing recently after a long break (about 30 years) when my daughter gave me a flute lesson for my birthday. I wish I hadn’t left it so long! The group is really supportive and encouraging and Ruth has created a really nurturing environment. It is such a privilege to play with other flautists and create wonderful music - I look forward to Thursday evenings!" - Madeleine
